We are excited to announce our latest release for Rainmaker 1.10. Alongside bug fixes and general optimizations, Rainmaker 1.10.7 for iPad includes a great announcement:
- “Resume after pause” mode for F2F calls
Before, the end-time was solely registered as the time when the client would re-open Rainmaker and finish the call.
Now, clients of Rainmaker will be able to set the end-time of the call to when they paused it - resulting in more accurate analytics.
How it works
Calls can be paused in several ways; by pressing the ON/OFF button, putting the lid on the iPad, or simply minimizing the app to the background for more than 5 minutes.
The client can now choose to either JOIN or FINISH the call when re-entering Rainmaker after a pause:
If the client chooses FINISH, the end-time will be set to the time when Rainmaker was paused. If the client chooses JOIN, the F2F call continues.
For Windows clients
The “resume after pause” mode is planned to feature in the upcoming Rainmaker 1.10.4 version for Windows clients.
